Booked a small profit of 900ish from sale of 5k qaf at 0.97

Downgrade my hdb from 5rm to 4rm

Second half last year 2020, we began to look for areas and houses to target to move to next.

We were very picky because we initially want a flat that would meet our wishlist

1) squarish living room

2) longish kitchen

3) high floor

4) corner

5) windy

6) no need major reno

7) cheap

With the above, we went searching, ploughing through propertyguru and 99.co to view flats.

We actually narrowed down our search to jurong west, teban and pandan garden, as they were close to my mum place. But each time we saw something we like, other woul beat us to it. This went on for 6 mths.

Feeling very rejected, we were resigned to continue living at our place. But heaven has other plans.

We actually chanced upon a bedok unit but it was small, a 4NG.

But unit was high, at 11th floor. Corner door to door. Windy, longish kitchen and square living room.

Only 1 con was that it was blocked by a bto, but still it was quite windy. Another thing was that there will be hip. We were not keen on it but agent wants us to offer and we just offer 500 more than last price. And the deal was closed on that night. We only reached home at 1pm.
